Fire Safety Training.

The Fire Safety Training courses are aimed at staff with a designated role in your workplace fire safety.

The courses are conducted on site at the clients premises by our experienced fire safety instructor Chris Shiels.

The different course materials and handouts are used in conjunction with the Fire Safety An Employer’s Guide and current workplace fire safety legislation.

Aim

To provide staff with a greater awareness of the threat posed by fire to people, property and business continuity.

By the end of the courses, delegates should:

 Recognise the importance of effective evacuation.

Be able to recognise habitual human behaviour in a fire situation.

Know how to prevent fire and limit fire spread.

Be able to identify the requirements of an effective fire action plan.

Be able to state the basic principles of risk assessment.

Be able to select and use a range of portable fire extinguishers on a live fire.
